Scandinavian style cottages x 2 (available from May 2023)

A true Country retreat. These single storey cottages can sleep up to four people, with log fires in each cottage, a spacious living area that is furnished and decorated to a high standard, and with great attention to detail.

Each cottage has two generous sized bedrooms with sumptuous king size beds, high quality bedding and soft furnishings. They also have a wet room, a well-equipped contemporary kitchen and comfortable living area, with a dining table and chairs.

Throughout, vibrant textiles compliment pieces of artwork that have been created by celebrated local artists, and the cool white interior is warmed through with pops of colour and textured fabrics.

Outside, there is room for adjacent parking, along with a good sized furnished patio, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the amazing sunsets with an aperitif.

Both cottages have a BBQ, one also has a Hot Tub.

Please note that the images shown on this page are to give an artist’s impression of how the cottages may eventually look, along with an indication of the high quality of the interiors. We will endeavour to update the page with photography of the actual cottages as soon as they’re fully built and ready to welcome you.

The Local Area

The Vale of Glamorgan benefits from a wealth of places and activities of interest… walking routes, many historical buildings, bars and restaurants and only 23 miles from the vibrant city of Cardiff.

Heritage Coastal Cottages are situated in the Hamlet of Monknash on the Heritage Coast, along the renowned 14 mile Heritage Coastal path. You have a choice of beaches, all within a10 minutes drive, and we are only 300 yards from an ancient local pub. A mere 15 minute walk to a ‘well-kept secret’ quiet sandy local beach, which is dog friendly 12 months of the year.
