Nestled in the beautiful Vale countryside, our small, adults-only seasonal campsite offers the perfect place to slow down, switch off and enjoy life’s simpler pleasures. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat, a base for exploring the local area, or somewhere to unwind beneath wide open skies, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you.

With just 30 pitches for tents, camper vans and motorhomes, our relaxed setting is designed for those who appreciate a quieter pace of life. (Please note that we are unable to accommodate caravans.)

At the heart of the campsite is our much-loved Teddy’s Bar & Café. Cosy and inviting, complete with a fire for cooler days, it’s the perfect place to retreat on cooler days or spend a balmy summer evening relaxing on the patio with a drink and a few nibbles.

We’re always delighted to share our favourite local walks, hidden gems and places to visit, so do pop in for a chat and a map before heading off to explore.

While we don’t serve meals on site, The Plough and Harrow, our friendly local pub, is just a short 300-yard stroll away. Open seven days a week and hosting live music at weekends, it’s ideal for a leisurely lunch, evening meal or a well-earned pint.

Teddy’s Bar Opening Hours
Monday to Thursday | 9.00am – 10.00am
Tea, coffee and refreshments, alongside tourist information and local recommendations.

Friday & Saturday | 9.00am until bar close
Join us throughout the day for refreshments, good company and relaxed evening drinks.

Sunday | 9.00am – 11.00am
Ease into the day with a coffee, local information and a gentle start to your morning.

Our bar offers a selection of teas, coffees and hot drinks, together with a well-stocked choice of wines, beers and spirits. As dusk falls, take time to sit back, listen for the hoot of the local owls and admire the spectacular sunsets, whether from Teddy’s Bar or the comfort of your own pitch.

Our on-site facilities have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including separate ladies’ and gents’’ amenities blocks, each with two toilets, two showers, wash basins and hand dryers. The ladies’ facilities also include a hairdryer. Accessible bathroom facilities are available, along with a utility room equipped with hot water, two sinks and a freezer.

Although we don’t have a shop on site, everyday essentials are never far away. A village store can be found just 1.5 miles from the campsite, while the nearby town of Llantwit Major, only a 12-minute drive away, offers a wider selection of shops and services.

Whether you’re returning to us once again or discovering our little corner of the Vale for the very first time, we look forward to welcoming you and helping you enjoy a truly relaxing stay.
